Joined Quadra Capital in 2022. Philippe is a Japanese equities and quantitative strategies specialist.

Experience: Philippe Ankaoua began his career at BNP Paribas in Tokyo as an Equity Derivatives Trader.

He then moved to the asset management industry, after co-founding ABC Square Asset Management LLP to oversee volatility and Japanese equity-related strategies. Over the course of his career, he has developed new models for equities financial time series and managed quantitative strategies portfolios on behalf of several hedge funds (e.g. Millennium Capital Partners) and proprietary desks of investment banks (e.g. Credit Suisse). He then joined Alpha Japan Asset Advisors Ltd as an senior quantitative analyst.

Education: Philippe graduated from University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis with a MSc degree in Mathematics & Computer Science and holds an MBA in financial markets. He also obtained an Investment Management Certificate from CISI in London.
